lost property finds

Another month, another fair! I’ll be at Oundle Vintage Fair on Sunday, at Victoria Hall from 11am-3pm. Here are some recent finds that will be coming with me…

The tin obsession shows no sign of stopping! Rooting through a cardboard box full of tins recently, I took the decision to buy all of them. This Bluebird Toffee tin is beautiful on the outside, but even better when you open it up.

I’ve been hoping to find some of these large sweet shop jars for a while, and then three turned up at once. They are stamped 1960 on the base.

And it held a little surprise – a ticket from a day trip to Alresford, back in 1939 (just one month before the start of WWII).
